“Growing up with poor posture, I often experienced pain in my neck, hips and knees.”

Growing up with poor posture, I often experienced pain in my neck, hips and knees. The pain intensified as time went on, to a point where it was impossible to walk more than 30 minutes. This went on for more than 10 years. I would feel discomfort throughout the day resulting in not being able to walk or do physical activities. I would take Advil sometimes, but the pain would always come back.

I was doing yoga to improve my posture and to feel better, but I decided I needed professional care to deal with and relieve the pain. When I started with a chiropractor I had some doubts it would help because it was a new and unfamiliar treatment. But I continued for a year and my condition steadily improved. Then I came to Khalsa Chiropractic.

I found the office here very professional and caring. The videos in the beginning sessions gave me additional context to feel comfortable about the practice. Dr. Mha Atma thoroughly analyzed my body status and provided clear documentation and ways to improve and be aware of my posture. Within a month of treatment, my pains in my knees, neck and hips diminished tremendously. I’m feeling rejuvenated to have been treated by Dr. Mha Atma in the past year.

My partner, William is also being treated here now for effects of his poor posture. He is more aware now but needs to be treated more!

I would highly recommend chiropractic care to anyone. We get so much tension around the neck and whole body, which can result in more stress. It really helps to improve your overall health and physical state.

This will be an ongoing maintenance treatment for me moving forward. Thank you for caring so much about your patients! Anyone would be lucky to have found your team.

I had terrible pain in my legs for months. At Kaiser, my doctor examined me and told me I had arthritis. He gave me various medicines but nothing worked. My daughter was a patient at Khalsa Chiropractic and she recommended that I go see Dr. Mha Atma. I had never been to a chiropractor ever before.

I had doubts that chiropractic would help me. My medical doctor told me it was NOT a good idea. I decided to see for myself.

The office felt very comfortable. Dr. Mha Atma started me on regular chiropractic treatments and gave me exercises to do. The shooting pains down my legs eased up. I could return to walking, without pain or limping. I take much less medicine now.

I started chiropractic care four years ago. I have continued with treatments because I need them. This year I did not come in for about 10 months and then my leg pains started to come back. As soon as I resumed treatment I felt much better again.

I’m convinced chiropractic works. I tell everyone I know about chiropractic. I tell them it works. No stress. Feel good. Keep coming for treatments once you start. I told my medical doctor about my treatments. All he could say was “good!”

I like coming to Khalsa Chiropractic for treatments. Dr. Mha Atma gives me good advice. The office is a great place to me.

“After I was rear-ended in a car accident I had severe pain and discomfort in my neck and back.”

After I was rear-ended in a car accident I had severe pain and discomfort in my neck and back. The pain was 8 or 9 on a scale of 1 to 10. I try not to use medications if I don’t really have to but I did have to take Tylenol.

My lawyer recommended me to Khalsa Chiropractic! I had never been to a chiropractor before so I had some doubts about whether it would help me because I was unsure of the benefits of it. But I had been in pain for weeks so I had to try.

I had a great first impression of the office. Everyone was kind and professional. Dr. Mha Atma was knowledgeable and personable. He recommended treatment two to three times weekly plus massage and postural adjustments. I have now seen Dr. Mha Atma for four months and these visits made a significant postural impact. Prior to coming it would hurt my back when standing for prolonged periods of time. Now the pain has gone from almost constant and 8 or 9 to an occasional3. I feel a lot better.

I would definitely recommend these services to family and friends. I have told them many good sentiments about my experience here. I feel that chiropractic care would be beneficial for all! I just want to thank the entire staff for their knowledge, care and recommendations!

I had stiffness and soreness in my neck and upper back for a year and a half. My neck mobility was limited. The severity of the symptoms was about 8 or 9 on a scale of 1 to 10.

I have known Dr. Mha Atma for decades but had not seen him for treatment in about 13 years. When I returned to his office I felt confident he could help. I was impressed by his office from day one. He recommended weekly adjustments and stretches for my neck and back. Within the first few weeks I began to experience increased mobility in my neck.

My symptoms continued to steadily improve and after about 3 months we reduced treatment frequency to twice monthly and eventually once monthly. I kept feeling improvement, and after about 10 months I was completely cured.

I recommend chiropractic care to anyone with a back or neck problem and I’ve told many people about it over the years. I’m glad chiropractic is there when I need it. Dr. Mha Atma is a caring, skilled practitioner and I would recommend him to anyone who needed good chiropractic care.

“I had pain in my upper left leg and hip: “sciatica.””

I had pain in my upper left leg and hip: “sciatica.” It had lasted three months. I took no medications, but the pain was so bad that I was limping. I could hardly walk. The left knee would often buckle and I came close to falling several times. My medical doctor suggested physical therapy or a chiropractor. I tried acupuncture but it was not enough.

I had been to Dr. Mha Atma 30 years ago for a neck injury which he cured. I figured if he was still in practice after 30 years he must be doing something right. 30 years ago I had some doubt he could help me but after that experience I had extreme confidence he could help me again.

I was impressed by Dr. Mha Atma’s very special easy manner. Very easy being in his presence—like driving through Malibu. He gave me adjustments twice weekly at first and some excellent effective exercises which I do daily. The result of his treatment: Relief, relief, relief! After a few weeks I felt much better and was able to walk freely again. Dr. Mha Atma’s long experience paid off again!

It seems that life stresses caused the vertebrae to shift and strangle the sciatic nerve. Dr. Mha Atma’s treatments hit the sweet spot of life and were just what my body was pleading for!

I have three women at my church who are very interested in coming to see Dr. Mha Atma and have told several others about my experience. Chiropractic works! I’m living proof.

I had pain in my middle back for about six weeks. It was fairly painful and not getting better.

I had been treated with chiropractic care in the past and knew it would help my condition. A friend referred me to Dr. Mha Atma.

I found the doctor and the office to be professional and efficient. Dr. Mha Atma recommended I come for adjustments twice a week for three weeks then once weekly for six weeks. He prescribed exercises for me to do at home.

After several sessions the mobility in by back was restored, allowing my muscles to heal more efficiently. Now I’m coming twice monthly and feeling quite well.

I’ve been enjoying the benefits of chiropractic care for over 12 years and I continue to recommend chiropractic care to others. I tell them that back mobility and function is especially important in today’s sit-at-a-desk-all-day age.

“I had limited mobility, my spine felt twisted, and I had sharp and also dull pain, as well as concussion and whiplash.”

I was rear-ended in a car accident. I had limited mobility, my spine felt twisted, and I had sharp and also dull pain, as well as concussion and whiplash. My pain was in my lower back, middle back, and neck. The ER doctor said I had a concussion and severe swelling and bruising but no broken bones. They gave me 4x strength ibuprofen, which I took for two or three weeks, but I don’t like taking any medications so I stopped.

The pain was overwhelming, very uncomfortable and severely affected my meditation and yoga practice. I was afraid to start treatment and I waited for three months after the accident before I finally came to Khalsa Chiropractic. I finally came because I needed relief! Dr. Mha Atma had helped me a few years ago too, so I was confident I could heal again. But I was still afraid to face the pain and get started again.

The office here has a rare community feel, old-school, caring and authentic. Dr. Mha Atma made me feel OK about my healing timeline. I felt guilty for waiting so long to start chiropractic care, but he validated that there are many aspects of healing after an accident, and that I was on track to feeling better.

Now after three months of treatment the lower and middle back pain is gone, and I am still working on the last bits of neck pain but I know further healing is possible. My meditation and yoga practice is back almost 100%, and I am teaching and practicing and enjoying my body again.

I recommend chiropractic care because it works! Healing is possible! I’ve told all my friends and family about it. I feel it is a crucial addition to my wellness routine.

It’s important to have a team of healers when things get too hard for us to handle ourselves. We’re not meant to go it alone. I am so thankful for Khalsa Chiropractic being on my healing team!

I had severe pain in my right lower back, groin, thigh and knee starting on Christmas Day. I was having difficulty standing and walking due to the pain, and the next day it was even worse. I had seen a physical therapist for a similar issues a few months before—they gave me exercises and it subsided. The pain then was irritating but not nearly as bad.

I came directly (on the third day) to Khalsa Chiropractic. I had been here 15 years ago with migraines and had gotten relief—to this day my migraines are less frequent, don’t last as long, and much less debilitating.

Dr. Mha Atma had me come for treatment twice weekly and gave me exercises and dietary advice. That first day I could barely walk due to the pain but I left walking upright with less pain. The exercises made a big difference and along with the treatment I was soon feeling much better.

My son and daughter-in-law are both getting chiropractic care now and are very happy with the results. I will continue to recommend chiropractic and I will remain a patient for wellness care in the hope that I don’t ever again have to experience the kind of pain I started with.

I am very happy to be in the care of Dr. Mha Atma—so very helpful!

I was experiencing pain and stiffness in my neck and right shoulder and stiffness in my lower back. The problems had persisted for a year. The pain was about 7 or 8 out of 10. I received some lackluster physical therapy treatments that didn’t help much.

I chose not to take pain medications and I managed the pain by limiting the activity that aggravated my pain. I had experienced chiropractic care before but not for over ten years. I was confident that it would help.

On my first visit to Khalsa Chiropractic I enjoyed the serene and professional environment. Dr. Mha Atma recommended a series of chiropractic adjustments along with exercises pertaining to my particular situation. Over the last four months of treatment, my pain and discomfort continues in the direction of being non-existent.

I certainly do recommend chiropractic treatment. Such treatment in its holistic form is specific and natural. I have encouraged friends, family and colleagues to try it. It is sensational and free of radical meds that could manifest internal side effects. Dr. Mha Atma is a “zensational” healer!

I had been experiencing sharp pains in my neck and shoulders as well as very much tension in my lower back. This had been chronic for the past seven years. I couldn’t stand for too long or exercise consistently. Sometime turning my head a certain way wouldtrigger the pain.

Numerous friends had raved about Khalsa Chiropractic so I figured it was worth trying. I had only been to a chiropractor a handful of times many years ago. My friends’ glowing reviews gave me confidence that Dr. Mha Atma would help.

Yoga and massage gave me some temporary help, but it wasn’t until I started chiropractic treatment that I started to feel relief. I felt relief immediately and with each visit the relief has gotten better. I’ve been coming less than four months and I continue to see improvements in my posture and relief in my neck, shoulders and back. I have more energy and am more productive throughout the day. I play guitar and my neck, shoulder and back do not hurt anymore after long sessions of playing. My overall mood has improved as well.

My mother has been seeing a chiropractor and it has been helping her with back pain for years. I now tell everyone I know about the benefits of chiropractic. Chiropractic care works. A lot of us spend a lot of time sitting at desks and on computers. Chiropractic is the main tool I’ve used to offset that. It has literally been life-changing for me.

Khalsa Chiropractic is always a joy to visit. I look for ward to each appointment!

I had severe neck spasms and pain in my lower back for about four months. I thought it was caused by working too much as a hair stylist. My primary physician had given me muscle relaxants and pain meds, but I didn’t like taking them. So my doctor recommended that I see a chiropractor and suggested Dr. Mha Atma. I had never seen a chiropractor before but I was desperate to feel better naturally, without drugs.

When I arrived at Khalsa Chiropractic, the office and the doctor made me feel safe and comfortable. Dr. Mha Atma recommended weekly treatments for a period of time to reduce the severity of my pain. I have continued for a few months and I now have little or no pain. It has helped in major way! I can work without pain!

I continue to come for treatment to maintain a pain free body. I am recommending chiropractic care to everyone. I’m very pleased with Dr. Mha Atma and this office!

I had been experiencing continued constant numbness from my neck down my right arm to my fingertips. I asked my acupuncturist for a referral to a chiropractor and she immediately told me to see Dr. Mha Atma!
I was somewhat skeptical if chiropractic care would help but I soon learned that it is essential to my health and well-being.

My first impression of the office was that it was nice and clean, with many resources of information in the waiting area. Dr. Mha Atma examined me and recommended a series of chiropractic treatments along with an anti-inflammatory diet and to take supplements such as vitamin D and magnesium along with stretches and exercises to do daily. He also referred me to see a medical spine specialist who evaluated me and said the best thing to do was to continue chiropractic treatment.

I have been coming to Khalsa Chiropractic for over two months now. Improvements have been slow but steady. I feel 80 percent better. I am doing the exercises to compensate for the fact that I sit for long periods of time at work. I now recommend chiropractic to others because it results in improved well-being. I have told four members of my family
    about my experience.

I feel absolutely positive about the benefits of chiropractic care! I look forward to my appointments. I am very happy with the results and look forward to continuing treatment.
