About five years ago I had such pain in my body I could not walk. I could not come up with a remedy. I did not want surgery. I read books, took exercise classes…and it just got worse! I did not know what the next step would be.

A few business associates spoke highly of Dr. Mha Atma Khalsa. I had my doubts, but I went for it.

I was impressed by the office—it felt spiritual and soulful. Dr. Mha Atma’s gentle treatment worked great! He recommended chiropractic treatment, supplements and exercises. I felt much better very quickly.

I have been coming now about once a month for almost five years. There is nothing like having Dr. Mha Atma oversee your health and posture. I have much better posture and I am pain free. I feel I have optimum health as a result of the care from Dr. Mha Atma and the vitamins he suggests. P.S.—I am now almost 90 years old.

I advise all who start chiropractic care to stick with it—our body needs constant tuning. This office is a tranquil sanctuary and I feel so comfortable when I’m here. Dr. Mha Atma’s persona is comfortable and knowledgeable.

“I had lower back pain and sciatica down my left leg for 6 or 7 years.”

    Read more from Paula Mitchell

I had lower back pain and sciatica down my left leg for 6 or 7 years. The sciatica pain was an 8 out of 10. When I went to doctors I was always given pain meds but never solutions. I took Tylenol, ibuprofen and others. I am not one for taking pain medications but I needed the temporary relief.

I had a regular chiropractor in the early 2000s and enjoyed the experience. Back then, it was just for regular maintenance. I finally decided to return to trying chiropractic for my problem. I found Khalsa Chiropractic on a provider list from my health insurance.

My first impression here was very good vibes and a peaceful atmosphere. Everyone was so nice. Dr. Mha Atma recommended consistent stretching exercises along with frequent chiropractic treatments, and he gave me handouts with examples of the exercises. Within two weeks the sciatica disappeared. It took a few more weeks but I now feel 100% better. I am not in pain and am back to my regular exercise routine.

I absolutely recommend chiropractic adjustments along with the right exercises—much better than pills! I have told about 10 friends and co-workers about my experience. I believe chiropractic is very beneficial and even life-changing.

I have been in pain for about six years and kept masking the problem with medication. I feel brand new and am happy I met Dr. Mha Atma.

“I felt “locked up:” Stiffness and discomfort in my neck, middle back and lower back.”

I felt “locked up:” Stiffness and discomfort in my neck, middle back and lower back. Seemed like it had been that way for years…maybe since childhood? Previous doctors seen for this condition didn’t help much—no overall positive result.

I decided to try chiropractic care so that I could improve my mobility, work out, exercise more. I was confident it would help.

I found Khalsa Chiropractic to be a friendly, peaceful, kind and calm experience. Dr. Mha Atma recommended exercises and dietary changes along with chiropractic care. The treatment, over a period of weeks and a few months, resulted in feeling great, with more movement and less pain. I am amazed how different I feel. It feels like years are coming back to me of feeling good!

I’ve told about a half dozen people about my experience. I recommend chiropractic care to others because it really helps with mental and physical well-being. I love it! It truly is life-giving!

“The pain was on my left side and extended up to the left middle back.”

I had terrible lower back pain. The pain was on my left side and extended up to the left middle back. I was OK sitting but in pain when bent over the stove or sink, when on the putting green and when walking.

I had back problems since childhood, starting with sciatica in my teens. I saw a chiropractor 30 or more years ago and it was helpful. In France 25 years ago I was treated by an osteopath with adjustments which relieved my pain and lasted for years. The pain over the years has been at times severe. When I was younger I could tough it out, but as a senior it can be crippling.

I knew chiropractic would help, and since I live down the street from Khalsa Chiropractic I came here for treatment. I had been taking some over-the-counter pain medications. I was more interested in natural remedies as opposed to surgery.

The office here seemed quaint and felt like a healing place. Dr. Mha Atma recommended diet and exercise to reduce inflammation, as well as a series of adjustments. I feel much better now—I am not disappointed. And I’m doing my back exercises religiously. I like chiropractic and this office—it is a comfortable environment. And I’ve told several friends about the chiropractic experience.

“I had awful migraines and my upper back was constantly in pain.”

I had awful migraines and my upper back was constantly in pain. My migraines lasted 30 minutes and I was unable to see. After it would pass, my neck and shoulder would be in pain for the next 24 hours. The migraines were making me more anxious because I never knew when they were going to hit.

I got migraine medicine to reduce the duration of the migraine. I then decided to go to Khalsa Chiropractic and also started to take vitamins C, D and B2 every day. I had been to a chiropractor a couple of years ago. I felt I had a 50/50 chance it would help and I thought why not exhaust all my options. I’m so glad I did!

My first impression of the office was that everyone was so kind, Zen, and extremely helpful. I also loved the interior of the office which has a small town feel that was immediately comfortable to me. Dr. Mha Atma recommended exercises, lots of vitamin D, and regular chiropractic adjustments.

After a month of coming here, I had not had a migraine and my upper back pain had improved. Now after four months I continue with less frequent care because I feel so much better: Less pain and no more migraines! I tell anyone who will listen about my chiropractic experience. I tell them that if you commit to your treatment plan and do the exercises, your pain will improve.

I definitely support chiropractic care. Dr. Mha Atma and the lovely people at the office are wonderful and really care about your wellbeing.

“I had back pain for the last two years and most of the time felt less energetic.”

    Read more from Jashandeep Singh

I had back pain for the last two years and most of the time felt less energetic. The pain started from my neck region going all the way down to the bottom of the spine. The pain was moderate to high. I did see a chiropractor in India some time ago. He was very good and I felt better at the time. But my pain had returned and all I could do was put Bengay on my back muscles which gave temporary relief.

I wanted to see an experienced chiropractor and was glad to find Dr. Mha Atma. I knew chiropractic would help me and I was very positive before I came here that it would help. I am glad I was right. Dr. Mha Atma and his office made me feel certain that I was in the right place. He recommended treatment, twice weekly at first, and daily exercises for the back as well as taking vitamin D.

I have felt a lot better in these four months since beginning treatment, especially considering that I had the problem for a long time. Also my mother and sister received chiropractic care and it has a big difference for them and really helped. I absolutely recommend chiropractic to people who want to improve their health. I have told about six people about it so far. I tell them that they well feel a lot more energetic and less or no stress in their daily activities.

I realize that I need to continue doing exercises regularly and make them a part of life going forward. And I will continue my chiropractic care even after I feel 100 percent.

Please keep up the good work that you do to make a difference in people’s lives. Your office is excellent and second to none.

I came to Khalsa Chiropractic suffering from spinal stenosis in my lower lumbar spine, which caused extreme pain in my back. There was also some stenosis in my cervical spine. My family doctor said I should see a pain management doctor. I have seen four of them to date, and all said I should get injections and pills. A couple recommended back surgery.

One of Dr. Mha Atma’s previous patients told me that he was an excellent doctor. I had some questions about chiropractors because nothing I did had seemed to help, but I decided to give it a try.

When I came to the office for my first visit, I was greeted by a very wonderful receptionist, Martha. She made me feel really at ease about seeing Dr. Mha Atma. I could sense that he cared for his patients.

I was shown videos on the first two visits about chiropractic and explaining the doctor’s treatment plan. Dr. Mha Atma said I needed and would receive chiropractic adjustments. The results were that I quickly began to experience less pain and more flexibility.

I have been a patient for more than 10 years now. I have continued because Dr. Mha Atma sincerely cares about my well-being, and because chiropractic keeps my spine healthy and flexible. I have told many others about chiropractic, and I recommend it because it works with regular visits.

I advise anyone who has recently started chiropractic care to follow Dr. Mha Atma’s advice. Dr. Mha Atma not only gives chiropractic care, but also advises his patients regarding healthy eating, vitamins, exercise and more.

I was having terrible lower back and neck pain and really couldn’t take it any longer. I had gotten worse in the last year, but I’d had back problems for years. I was miserable, tired and hopeless. I didn’t want to see another surgeon and I didn’t want to hear that I needed surgery. It had always been about my weight. I was taking naproxen and muscle relaxers.

My friend Eddie gave me hope: I should go to Khalsa Chiropractic. Years ago I had been to a chiropractor a few times, but it was expensive and didn’t help. So I had doubts, but a little hope, so I went for it.

When I arrived at Khalsa Chiropractic I felt at home in my neighborhood and I felt complete trust right away. Dr. Mha Atma recommended a series of chiropractic treatments and had me do stretches and exercises to strengthen my back.

After a few months of treatment, I now feel better than I have in years! I enthusiastically recommend chiropractic to others—it is important to improve your quality of life. I tell everyone about it. And I feel it’s important to maintain your health and for self-love.

I have been a patient at Khalsa Chiropractic for 39 years (!). Dr. Mha Atma is a healer and has helped me feel better for 39 years. And the staff is always welcoming and friendly. My occasional back and neck problems have always been resolved with the doctor’s adjustments, and that has kept me coming.

In recent years my visits became more infrequent, and I experienced occasional painful flare-ups that required me to return for treatment. I decided to become more proactive, and resume coming in for adjustments at least once every month, even when I felt fine. Once I began monthly adjustments I discovered that I no longer had flare-ups of back or neck pain, and I will continue to come regularly.

I have told many others about the benefits of chiropractic care. Many of those who have suffered from back and neck pain have heeded my advice and experienced those benefits.

My life might be miserable due to back and neck pain if not for Dr. Mha Atma’s care!

I had persistent pain in my neck and my lower back for at least two years. The pain fluctuated and was aggravated by carrying heavy loads but it continued to bother me frequently. I took over-the-counter pain killers when it was bad. My wife had come to Khalsa Chiropractic years before and the treatment helped her recover from an old injury so I finally decided to try chiropractic for myself.

I was confident the treatment would help. Dr. Mha Atma recommended twice weekly and then weekly adjustments and some stretching exercises. Over a period of several weeks I became far more pain free and productive.

I continued the treatment for many months and then did not continue after the pandemic started. I became very ill with heart failure and was in the hospital in intensive care for a month. When I returned to Khalsa Chiropractic my neck and back pain had returned for several months. As soon as I resumed treatment I started to feel better again. I am feeling much better now but need to continue treatment for further improvement and maintenance.

I recommend chiropractic to anyone who speaks about back or neck pain. I’ve told at least 10 individuals about my experience. I think chiropractic adjustments are an important and essential addition to health maintenance. Dr. Mha Atma is a very caring and compassionate and completely devoted to his patients. I have often used gift cards to begin chiropractic treatment for people that I care for.

For over ten years I had severe lower back and hip pain and neck stiffness. I had seen an orthopedic surgeon and done some physical therapy. The surgeon couldn’t help and the PT wasn’t very effective. I occasionally took ibuprofen.

A friend recommended Dr. Mha Atma. My previous chiropractic experience had been limited to some treatment at “The Joint.” I wasn’t sure about the long-term and lasting benefits of chiropractic interventions before Dr. Mha Atma explained them. I thought at best they provided temporary relief.

My first impression at Khalsa Chiropractic was excellent. I liked the effort to educate and was very moved by the doctor’s follow-up call after the first treatment. He developed a long-term plan to success, starting with visits twice weekly to address the pain and inflammation, then moving to once a week and eventually once a month for maintenance.

I experienced immediate pain relief and a sense of energy and well-being. After each session I felt “unstuck!” I later brought my two children in for maintenance care.

I absolutely recommend chiropractic to others because it helps—and it beats taking pills. I tell everyone about it who complains of back pain. I like chiropractic—but especially because Dr. Mha Atma is such a generous and kind person who genuinely cares about his patients! I am so grateful! Thank you!

    Read more from Leslie Mason

I had been experiencing chronic neck and back pain for a while, and it was affecting my sleep and daily physical activity. The pain was in my neck, shoulders, middle back and lower back, and more recently my right arm was painful. The problem started after I was rear-ended in May 2019. I was in pain for a few weeks after the accident. After that the pain was better except for muscle spasms. In October 2019 an MRI of my neck revealed 4 herniated discs. After a while the pain returned. By February 2022 it was extremely severe and I called my doctor. In March 2022 I went to the Kaiser spine clinic and they gave me medication (Methocarbam).

In March 2023 a co-worker told me she had experienced a really bad crisis situation with her back and that she had gone to a chiropractor who helped her tremendously! I trusted her so I got the info and made an appointment. I definitely had my doubts because I had been to a chiropractor before and had a horrible experience and I had said I would never go to another!

When I first came to Khalsa Chiropractic I was thoroughly impressed! The office had a homey feeling of calm and coziness. The receptionist was welcoming and Dr. Mha Atma was thorough. He meets you where you are and makes you feel comfortable with his explanations. And I really appreciated the videos explaining about chiropractic services so you know what you’re getting into. I began to feel better after the very first adjustment. And the exercises Dr. Mha Atma provides became an essential part of my treatment.

I have told every one of my family and friends about my positive chiropractic experience! Now after three months of treatment I feel everyone should see a good chiropractor at least to be assessed. I feel chiropractic care is essential and I will forever continue to get chiropractic care.

I am truly appreciative for my experience here at Khalsa Chiropractic. I now feel the best I’ve felt in over a year! I have learned to be extremely conscious of my diet, and taking more and different supplements to assist my muscles and bones and have purchased items to help me exercise my back and neck. I am forever grateful for this experience!
